Gizmo is an AI startup on a mission to make learning so easy that anyone can learn anything. We're building Duolingo for Anything - a platform that uses gamification and social mechanics to make learning fun. With over 1 million monthly active users and $4M in annual recurring revenue, we're already one of the fastest-growing startups in the UK. Backed by leading investors, we recently raised $16M in Series A funding to accelerate our vision of helping 1 billion people learn.
Role Overview
In the past year, Gizmo has grown 10x to over 1 million monthly learners and driven more than 200 million organic views across TikTok and Instagram. And we've done it all without a dedicated growth team.
We're now looking for our first Growth Manager to help take Gizmo from viral product to global learning platform. You'll work closely with the founders to design and execute plans and experiments that accelerate user acquisition, engagement and retention.
This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing and analytics. If you're excited by high ownership and building something that genuinely helps people learn, this is the role for you.

- Use tools like SQL, PostHog and others to understand user behaviour, identify growth levers, and build a clear analytics and attribution setup across product and marketing
- Test new channels and messaging to unlock scalable growth opportunities
- Own key growth metrics and regularly share insights with the team
- As the role evolves, identifying and designing growth experiments across the full funnel, from acquisition to retention
- Build the foundations for a world-class growth function
Requirements
- A strong track record in growth, product marketing or performance marketing
- Proficient in SQL and comfortable using product or marketing analytics tools to uncover insights

- Deep understanding of growth models, funnels, experimentation and compounding loops
- Highly self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership, creativity and a bias for action
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Excited to help scale a product people already love
- Experience working in early-stage startups or founding experience
Nice to have but not essential:
- Experience with social networks or gamified products
Benefits
- Highly competitive salary
- Equity included - you'll own a piece of what you're building
- Hybrid working model with 4 days per week in our London Liverpool Street office
- The opportunity to be one of the earliest employees in one of the UK's fastest-growing startups
